When I started with Symmetry in April, 2013, I had recently closed a business that left me with quite a bit of debt. I was determined to find a company that had a proven system for me to follow that not only could give me the immediate income to provide for my family, but also the opportunity to build a business for our future.
I filled out an application that our bank had sent us, where our mortgage is held. I filled it out regarding insurance on our home if anything should happen to my husband or myself. "Bryan" from this company called, we sat up a meeting. The whole meeting was about us buying "life" insurance. I explained to him SEVERAL times that we were already covered for life insurance and that I was inquiring about insurance on our remaining mortgage if anything should happen to us. He totally avoided my needs. He knew he was getting "no where" with me, so he said he would check on the home mortgage insurance and that he would get back with me in 2 days. Well, it has now been 3 weeks+. Then I get another call from "Deb" who does all the calls for her husband "Lee" that works for this company. I explained to her about "Bryan's" visit and she assured me that Lee would take care of our needs. So we sat up another meeting. Again.......just like the first meeting with Bryan. They WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANY PAPER WORK TO READ OVER, ALL THEY WANT YOU TO DO IS TO SIGN ON THEIR LAP TOP IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT READING ANYTHING!!!! I asked for a hard copy so I could "go over it" and my attorney could go over it. LEE REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANYTHING. I asked him, "Who would sign something without reading it first?" He accused me of not trusting him, which at this point I did not, and he slammed his laptop closed, looked at his wife and said, "we need to go!" Out the door they went......down the yellow brick road! This is an extremely NASTY company! Hiring a bunch of LIARS!!! After reading the other reviews, they are all 100% correct....you will NOT get a "hard copy" of nothing!!!! NO PROOF IF YOU EVEN HAVE A POLICY!!!! I am contacting the BBB as well. Also, if you call their office, no one answers!
I love this company, because I love the people behind it. They're real, they're genuine, and they care.
After getting a couple more request emails to apply for the position, I sent this exact information to those that I was supposed to be dealing with. Again, no response. I finally discerned that the principals in question, were just sending form letters (emails) in hopes of obtaining low-hanging fruit. The whole process was alienating which is a shame. I was very interested in pursuing this opportunity, even if only 70% of the promotional material was indeed factual.
Very disappointing experience trying to interview and find out more information about this company. Their job description looks extremely attractive, as it is supposed to, so I followed up on it. I received a call from a National Hiring Manager, (which I assume there is one for each practice) and was scheduled for an interview.
I researched the company extensively, and reviewed all of the reviews, videos, and YouTube reviews, some of which were very negative, and wanted to get some clarification. I was told I would get that during the interview. I also asked for a quick response to a couple of fundamental questions, such as if a license were required, etc., before the interview. These were ignored, even after I sent a reminder email. The phone call did not come at the scheduled time, so I sent an email that I was going to another meeting.
I have worked for Symmetry for almost 2 years. This is, by far, the most supportive and caring company I have ever been employed by. The amount of fundraising they do for the community is amazing. They truly care for and support their employees. It's more like a family than an employer and I am thankful each day for the opportunity!
Within 18 months, we were able to pay off six figures in debt...which seemed impossible before finding Symmetry. I can't describe in words the sense of freedom, fulfillment, and gratitude we have everyday for the lifestyle we now own...with time and money.
The most honest and ethical company I have ever worked with. Being given the opportunity to work with Symmetry Financial Group has been a blessing. This job is not for everybody though. Just because you go through the motions doesn't necessarily mean you are going to succeed, you need to have your head/mind in the right place also. Anybody who is saying that you have to spend a lot of money to succeed is definitely not speaking for the majority so that is a big clue there. Being able to help protect so many families and their families is by far the best job but also being able to constantly grow as a person what a win win for everyone!!
In my opinion, a company is only as good as the people behind it. The leadership of Symmetry impressed me very early on with their experience and their ability to grow a company so quickly to be the fastest growing IMO of its kind in the country. What's much more impressive to me, though, is how they've done that not on the backs of others, but by lifting others up. They take a real interest in knowing where an agent wants to go and helping you get there.
